Two ex-Man Utd stars, ten Super Eagles players hail Awaziem after loan move to Alanyaspor

Turkish Super Lig club Alanyaspor have completed the deadline day temporary signing of Nigeria international Chidozie Awaziem.
The agreement between Boavista and Alanyaspor will keep the central defender at the Alanya-based team until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
A day after representing the Super Eagles in a 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Cape Verde, Awaziem arrived at Antalya Airport in this evening on a private jet.
The Porto-reared defender has Super Lig experience, playing sixteen matches during a loan spell at Rizespor in the second half of the 2018-2019 season.
Reacting after his move was confirmed, Awaziem posted on Instagram : "New chapter , let the battle begin @alanyaspor".
At least ten Super Eagles players and two former Manchester United stars in the shape of Odion Ighalo and Angel Gomes responded to his post, congratulating him on his move to Alanyaspor.
The Nigeria internationals are Ndidi, Iheanacho, Mikel, Moffi, Olayinka, Omeruo, Collins, Semi Ajayi, Troost-Ekong and Onuachu.
