Talented winger of Nigerian descent invited to train with Arsenal first team pre-Burnley
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta ran the rule over talented Dutch-born Nigerian winger Joel Ideho this week.

Ideho was one of the outstanding academy players that trained with the first team stars at London Colney on Wednesday ahead of the Gunners' trip to Turf Moor, where they will face Burnley in the Premier League this coming weekend.

The Dutch-Nigerian is among the scholars and U21 players registered by the Gunners for the first half of this season's Premier League.

Though Arsenal's development squad were beaten by their League Two opponent, he earned rave reviews for his brilliant strike against Swindon Town in a Papa John's Trophy clash nine days ago.

Ideho has impressed since swapping Ajax Amsterdam for Arsenal in October 2020, with a goal involvement of eleven (6 goals, 5 assists) in 24 appearances combined for the youth teams of the north London club.

Known for his pace and dribbling skills, the 18-year-old models his game after Crystal Palace's Ivorian winger Wilfried Zaha.

Apart from Ideho, other youngsters of Nigerian descent eligible to represent Arsenal in the Premier League are Ryan Alebiosu, Tim Akinola, Zachariah Awe, Folarin Balogun, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Henry Timi Davies, Ovie Ejeheri, Mazeed Ogungbo, Arthur Okonkwo and James Olayinka.
