18-year-old winger of Nigerian descent trains with Arsenal first team pre-Tottenham Hotspur
Published: September 24, 2021
Arsenal stepped up their preparations for the eagerly anticipated Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur with another training session held at London Colney on Friday, September 24.
According to the training images published by the official website of the Gunners, Nigeria-eligible teenager Nathan Butler-Oyedeji participated in today's workout.
A pacy winger blessed with dribbling skills, Butler-Oyedeji signed his first professional contract at Arsenal last month.
The 18-year-old, a product of Arsenal's Hale End Academy, has often been invited to train with the first team.
Certainly his best performance in an Arsenal shirt was netting a brace against Tottenham Hotspur in an U18 Premier League fixture back in the 2019-2020 season.
Butler-Oyedeji has been on the books of Arsenal since the
age of seven, rising through the ranks before signing scholarship forms
with the Emirates outfit.
So far this season, he has appeared in three matches for Arsenal's development squad.
