The Super Eagles stepped up their preparations for the upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Central African Republic with a training session at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Tuesday evening.
With the exception of Sparta Rotterdam glovesman Maduka Okoye, manager Gernot Rohr had at his disposal all the invited players, including late invitee Taiwo Awoniyi.
After the usual exercises and stretches, the Franco-German football tactician put

The Leicester City academy product would become cap-tied to Nigeria should he feature against Central African Republic on Thursday.
Joining Bassey in Team B, who wore blue bibs, were Daniel Akpeyi, Kevin Akpoguma, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Innocent Bonke, Shehu Abdullahi, Samuel Kalu, Ahmed Musa and Taiwo Awoniyi.
Team A contained : Francis Uzoho, Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Jamilu Collins, Frank Onyeka, Joe Aribo, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidera Ejuke, Moses Simon and Victor Osimhen.
