Nigeria and Leicester City handed major injury boost as key striker returns to full training
Nigeria, in particular, and Leicester City have been handed a major boost ahead of upcoming matches against Central African Republic and Manchester United respectively.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that the Super Eagles leading scorer after matchday three of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Kelechi Iheanacho trained fully with the rest of his teammates during Friday's workout at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

Iheanacho was substituted at half-time in Thursday evening's clash against Central African Republic after suffering an injury in the 34th minute as he played a curling shot.

Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr may be right after all having revealed post-match that he was replaced because he had a knock or in other words an injury that is not too serious.

This afternoon, the Foxes and Super Eagles number 14 initially had a recovery session with the players that started yesterday's game against Les Fauves.

After a while, Rohr called the striker and instructed him to join the players that didn't start the match.

Iheanacho was seen training without limitation with the squad and to end all doubts about his fitness he was involved in the half pitch practice match.

The 2013 U17 World Cup Golden Ball winner netted a pair of goals as Nigeria defeated Liberia 2-0 in their opening 2022 World Cup qualifier.
