Ex-Arsenal defender of Nigerian descent tipped to land new deal at Tottenham Hotspur

Former Arsenal center-back of Nigerian descent Tobi Omole has been tipped to sign a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur.
Football Insider has reported that Tottenham manager Nuno Espírito Santo has taking a liking to the Anglo-Nigerian starlet and has made it clear he regards him as capable of landing a new contract.
Omole has less than nine months left on his contract with Spurs, whom he joined in October 2020 following his release by Arsenal, where he spent six years playing for the academy teams.
The 21-year-old's contract was extended in the summer after proving his worth in his maiden season at the north London club.
Omole is highly rated by Espírito Santo given that he was included in Spurs' Premier League and Europa Conference League squads.
Capable of playing as a full-back, left-sided central defender and defensive midfielder, Omole will fancy his chances of making his professional debut before the end of the season, having made the matchday squad for three first team games including the Premier League clash versus Crystal Palace last month.
He made his non-competitive debut for Tottenham Hotspur in a pre-season game against Leyton Orient in July.
