Super Eagles striker Dennis on yellow card alert in Watford's clash against Liverpool
Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis will be walking a disciplinary tightrope when Watford welcome Liverpool to Vicarage Road in a Premier League clash on Saturday, lunchtime kickoff.

The former Club Brugge star, who has caught the eye for the Hornets in the new season, is one yellow card away from an automatic one-match ban after accumulating four bookings.

Dennis saw his first yellow card in the closing minutes of a 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur and the second of his Premier League career the following matchday against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 23-year-old was also reprimanded against Newcastle United and shown his fourth yellow card by referee Simon Hooper in the last game before the second international break of the season against Leeds United.

Premier League rules state that 'any player earning five bookings from their side's first 19 Premier League matches will serve a one-match ban in the same competition', and yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup'.

For an attack-minded player, Dennis has a poor disciplinary record having accumulated 32 yellow cards in 152 matches combined for Zorya Lugansk and Club Brugge prior to joining Watford in the summer.
