Published: October 13, 2021Recuperating Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has been asked by Watford's official YouTube page to select his dream 5-a-side team from the players he's played with or against.
The Stoke City loanee has gone for a 1-1-2 formation consisting of one goalkeeper, one central defender, a midfielder and two strikers.
Only one Nigeria international in the shape of William Troost-Ekong got a spot on Etebo's dream 5-a-side team.
Here are the choices made by Etebo and the reasons for picking the players :
Goalkeeper : Fernando Muslera (Galatasaray)
"First of all I will go with Fernando Muslera, he's a very good guy, a leader, quality in the goal, the confident level is so high".
Center-back : William Troost-Ekong (Watford)
"For my center back I am going to go with Troost-Ekong. I played with him a couple of time at the Olympic Games, World Cup, the Nations Cup. He defends really strong at the back".
Midfielder : Toni Kroos (Real Madrid)
"As per my midfield, I am going to go for Toni Kroos. Quality player with the ball, he's so confident, plays at a high level".
Strikers : Lionel Messi (PSG) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
"I am going to go with two strikers. We all know it is going to be Messi and Ronaldo. No one else."
