Legendary Nerazzurri striker Sandro Mazzola has warned Inter Milan to be wary of the threat posed by Victor Osimhen ahead of the upcoming match between the reigning champions and the Blues.
Inter Milan welcome Napoli to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in their first game after the international break, on Sunday November 21 and it's a match the home team have to win to close the gap on the Naples side.
Napoli are one of the form teams in Europe at the moment, winning twelve out of their sixteen games in all competitions, and it is largely due to the performance of Osimhen.
During the same period, Inter Milan have been able to register nine victories from the same number of games.
The Nigeria international has showcased his talent with nine goals in 13 games, with four of his strikes coming in the Europa League.
"Spalletti's team is not to be underestimated. There is that center forward there, Victor Osimhen , who is really strong," Mazzola told Radio Kiss Kiss via Notizie Inter.
"It makes me lose sleep. Every time he touches the ball he manages to amaze me; it's surprising."
Following Osimhen's big money move from Lille in 2020, the Super Eagles striker has directly participated in 24 goals in 43 appearances.
The 22-year-old is expected to feature in Tuesday's 2022 World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde before flying back to Italy ahead of the clash with Inter Milan.
