Rangers made it two wins in as many games by beating Livingston 3-1 in a Scottish Premiership clash at Tony Macaroni Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, in his first league match in charge of Rangers, made only one change to the side which defeated Sparta Prague 2-0, bringing in Scott Arfield to replace Steven Davies, meaning Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey kept their places in the starting lineup.
Rangers, who have conceded a stack of early goals lately, got two of their own and they were great goals from central midfielders Arfield and Aribo.
Sixteen minutes into the first half, the Super Eagles number 10 scored his first goal under new coach van Bronckhorst when he slotted the ball in off the underside of the bar, right in the corner, to double the advantage.
Livingston responded as Bruce Anderson pulled one back on the half-hour mark and the home team could have been level at halftime but for an outstanding save from goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
Eleven minutes into the second half, Aribo's powerful drive from 18 yards forced a smart save from Max Stryjek.
In the 78th minute, Fashion Sakala steered his header past the Livingston glovesman to put Rangers in clear control of the game.
Rangers have gone six points clear of second-placed Hearts at the top of the Premiership table.
