With a statement on their official website, Spanish Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino side Real Betis Féminas have announced the signing of Liverpool's Nigeria-eligible winger Rinsola Babajide.
The former England youth teamer has put pen to paper on an eighteen-month contract with Real Betis until June 30, 2023.
Babajide cut short her season-long loan spell with Women's Super League side Brighton & Hove before signing for the Andalusian outfit.
The 23-year-old is credited with 58 appearances for Liverpool across four years, scoring 21 goals.
Speaking on his new signing, Real Betis director Ricardo Díaz said : "As we have been saying since the summer, we are constantly improving. With the signing of Rinsola we cover a lack: speed on the wings, and the strength and youth that we understand this new player brings.
"We are not satisfied. We want to continue aspiring. We have several injured, the covid disease that affects us all and we hope to add more in the second round than we have right now."
Babajide began her career at Crystal Palace, where she played for four seasons (2011-15), followed by spells at Milwall (2015-17) and Watford (2017-18).
She has attended two Lionesses training camps but did not make her official debut, making her eligible to represent the Super Falcons.
