Done deal : Lazio loan out former Barcelona starlet Adekanye to Serie B club
Published: January 30, 2022Through their official website, Italian Serie B club Crotone have announced the signing of Nigerian-born winger Bobby Adekanye.
The former Barcelona starlet has departed Lazio in search of regular first team football and will spend the remainder of the campaign on loan at The Sharks.
Aged 22, Adekanye has made only fifteen appearances for Lazio since joining the club from Liverpool in the summer of 2019.
Apart from Barcelona and Liverpool, he also spent time with the youth teams of Ajax Amsterdam, Alphia and PSV Eindhoven.
He has a Dutch passport and has represented Netherlands at U16, U17 and U20 levels.
Since joining Lazio, the exciting winger has enjoyed loan spells at Cadiz in Spain and at ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands before returning to the Biancoceleste team.
Adekanye has been described as very skilled in dribbling, speed, shooting and providing assists to his teammates.
