Red Star Belgrade complete deadline day signings of four Nigerian players including ex-Golden Eaglets stars
Published: February 12, 2022Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade have completed the deadline day signings of four Nigerian youngsters, including two members of the Golden Eaglets squad to the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
Nigeria youth internationals Charles Aniefiok Etim and Quadri Oluwasegun Edun, Shedrack Charles and Prince Lucky Ukachukwu will begin their professional careers at the 1991 Champions League winners.
The four players, who are all aged eighteen, have signed deals with Red Star Belgrade until the end of the 2023-2024 season and it is confirmed that their International Transfer Certificates were issued on Friday, February 11, same day the transfer window closed for business in Serbia.
A winger by trade, Charles last wore the colours of grassroots clubs Adoration Ministry Football Academy Enugu, owned by powerful catholic priest Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka.
Striker Ukachukwu has transferred to Red Star from Chuson Integrated International Football Academy Port Harcourt owned by Sunday Obiora Okparaojiaku.
Fullbacks Etim and Oluwasegun were previously on the books of Blessed Star Football Academy Uyo and G12 Football Club Lagos respectively.
Ude Sports Management CEO Uche Dominic Egbukwu brokered the deals taking the four promising Nigerian teenagers to Red Star Belgrade.
