With a statement on their official website, Croatian top division club HNK Gorica have announced the loan acquisition of former Nigeria U23 international Iyayi Believe Atiemwen until the end of the current season.
The 26-year-old is returning to HNK Gorica for a second spell, three years after he left the club to join Dinamo Zagreb.
The Dinamo Zagreb-owned attack-minded player spent the first half of the season on loan at Omonia Nicosia and totaled sixteen appearances for the Cypriot club in all competitions prior to his departure.
Speaking after the deal was confirmed, Atiemwen said to HNK Gorica's official website : "I am very happy to be here again, in this club, I can't wait to go.
"I had other offers, more financially generous, but I only wanted to go to Gorica. I didn't come for the money, I came to do my best for the club where I spent some of the most beautiful moments of my career".
The former Dogan TBSK, Erciyesspor, Rizespor and Manisaspor star wore the number 80 jersey at his unveiling ceremony.
In his first spell as a player of HNK Gorica, Atiemwen scored 12 goals in 30 outings.
