The HB Academy center forward has been promoted to Nigeria's U20 national team, earning a call-up for next month's WAFU B U20 Championship taking place in Niamey, capital of Niger Republic.
Abdullahi has undergone trials at Borussia Dortmund, Marseille and Lorient and the three clubs are all interested in signing him but face competition from more illustrious teams.
Premier League giants Manchester United and Manchester City have been alerted about his potential.
Feyenoord Rotterdam, Wolfsburg, KAA Gent, OGC Nice are all keeping tabs on the 17-year-old with a view to a move in the summer.
