West Ham, Southampton and Brentford interested in Nigerian-born winger
Published: May 14, 2022
According to Football Insider, West Ham United, Southampton and Brentford are plotting summer moves for versatile Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.
The former Queens Park Rangers star has put himself in the shop window with a string of brilliant displays for Fenerbahce this season.
Osayi-Samuel was linked with a departure from the Yellow Canaries last summer but has become a prominent player for the club thanks to his ability to play in several positions including right back, right winger, right midfield, left midfield and left winger.
This season, Osayi-Samuel has been involved in seven goals (2 goals, 5 assists) from 42 appearances in all competitions, including six in the Europa League, where he started all but one of the matches played by Fenerbahce in the group stage.
The 2019-2020 season was the best campaign of his career having directly participated in fifteen goals and on a personal level he won QPR's Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season awards.
Osayi-Samuel has a contract with Fenerbahce until June 30, 2025.
