Tottenham Hotspur bid for Juventus target of Nigerian descent rejected
Published: June 14, 2022Destiny Udogie's impressive performances last season for Udinese have not gone unnoticed by more glamorous European clubs.
Udinese have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the Italy U21 international of Nigerian descent with several clubs interested in signing the versatile left-back in the summer transfer window.
According to Italian sports daily Tuttosport via Football Italia, Udinese do not want to lose the 19-year-old and have rejected offers from Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus.
The Italian-Nigerian has four years to run on his contract with the Little Zebras and it would take a big bid to prise him away from the Serie A outfit.
In 35 outings in last season's Serie A, 29 of which he started, Udogie scored five goals and registered three assists.
He was a key player for the Italian U17 side that reached the final of the 2019 U17 EURO and that same year competed in the FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
Udogie has also represented Italy at U16, U18, U19 and U20 levels.
