Bayer Leverkusen set to sign Manchester City winger of Nigerian descent on permanent deal
Published: June 24, 2022England U19 international of Nigerian descent Samuel Edozie will end a three-year association with Premier League champions Manchester City in the coming days, according to reports.
Italian transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano has informed that German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are on the brink of signing the Anglo-Nigerian from the Citizens.
There is in agreement in place on a permanent deal that will see the winger tied to Bayer Leverkusen until June 30, 2024.

The Anglo-Nigerian has one year left on his contract with Manchester City, whom he joined from Millwall.
City beat Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton to the signature of Edozie.
He has helped the Etihad outfit win the Premier League 2 title in back-to-back seasons, scoring five goals in 29 games in the division.
Edozie is thought to be leaving Manchester City due to a lack of playing time, having made only one appearance for the first team and it came in last season's Community Shield against Leicester City.
