Video : Ex-Chelsea star Moses training on his own after going AWOL at Russian club
Published: June 26, 2022
Former Chelsea star Victor Moses is training on his own after going AWOL at Russian Premier League giants Spartak Moscow.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, who is in the possession of a British passport and a former England underage international, has refused to report for pre-season training at the Muscovites for obvious reasons.
Spartak Moscow have brought out a press release stating that they are investigating the circumstances of Moses's decision not to report for pre-season training, adding that his contract has not been suspended.
In an apparent dig to Spartak Moscow, Moses, who had been inactive on social media for ten days, has posted a video of him undergoing a personal training session ahead of the forthcoming season.

Apart from Chelsea, Moses has played at the highest level for some of the big clubs in the world including Liverpool, Fenerbahce and Inter Milan.
The 31-year-old was a key player for the Chelsea team that won the Premier League title in 2017 under the tutelage of Italian football tactician Antonio Conte.
