Report : Newcastle the club most interested in Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd-linked Nigeria star
Published: June 26, 2022According to a fresh report from Italian sports daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport – Stadio, Premier League moneybags Newcastle United seem to be the club most interested in signing Victor Osimhen this summer.
Per the report, the Nigeria international is being linked with possible moves to Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Newcastle United, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
Bayern Munich and Arsenal are thought to be out of the race to sign the Napoli striker following the capture of Sadio Mane and the imminent arrival of Gabriel Jesus respectively.
Napoli rejected a 100 million euros bid from the Magpies for the services of both Osimhen and Fabián Ruiz in the January transfer window.
Although Osimhen is valued at 110 million euros, the Blues would be willing to enter into negotiations with an interested club if they receive a bid of at least 100 million euros.
The 2015 U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner has shown his goalscoring quality since landing in Italy, notching 28 goals in 62 appearances across all competitions.
Osimhen has a contract with the Naples based outfit until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
