Southampton starlet Kazeem Olaigbe is being linked with a loan move away from the St Mary's Stadium, with a report from Daily Echo's Alfie House saying Ross County have an interest in signing the Belgian-Nigerian attacker.

Per the report, it has been speculated that the Belgium U19 international could join Ross County on loan in the summer transfer market with a recall option inserted into the agreement, and the Scottish Premiership outfit have to tie up a few things before getting the deal over the line.

Ross County are thought to be in the market for a player with offensive qualities as a replacement for Nigerian youngster Joseph Hungbo who has returned to Watford following the end of his loan spell at the Global Energy Stadium.

And Olaigbe certainly fits the bill as he is capable of playing as a left winger, right winger and striker just as Hungbo.

Ross County are hoping to complete the deal as they have a good relationship with Southampton.

Olaigbe was nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season on the back of his impressive performances for Southampton B in the division with 12 goals in 23 appearances.

Including friendlies, the 19-year-old, who signed a new contract mid-February,  tallied 21 goals for Southampton B in 2021-2022.
