Published: June 29, 2022
Through a statement on their official website, Bosnian Premier League BH club FK Sarajevo have announced the signing of Nigeria international Musa Muhammed.
The 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup-winning captain joins FK Sarajevo on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Croatian outfit HNK Gorica.
A right-back by trade, Muhammed was on the books of HNK Gorica for four years, making 110 appearances across all competitions for the club, scoring two goals and provided four assists.
Last season, he played 20 games in the Croatian SuperSport HNL and netted once in the division.
A product of FC Heart Academy in his homeland, Muhammed began his professional career in Europe at Istanbul Basaksehir, and enjoyed loan spells at Željezničar (Bosnia) and Lokomotiv Plovdiv (Bulgaria) during his time with the Turkish club.
The Nigerian, who is the eighth player signed by FK Sarajevo in the summer, has already started training with his new employers after putting pen to paper on a one-year contract.
