Official : Tennis Borussia Berlin sign Nigerian-born left-back
Published: August 20, 2022Through their official website, German Regionalliga Nordost outfit Tennis Borussia Berlin have announced the signing of experienced Nigerian left-back Eke Uzoma.
Shortly before the start of their league game at 1. FC Lok Leipzig on Saturday afternoon, Tennis Borussia Berlin announced the capture of Uzoma, who last played for Tiszakécske in the second-tier of Hungarian football.
The 33-year-old has played in Germany before, with spells at SC Freiburg, 1860 Munich, Arminia Bielefeld, SV Sandhausen, Chemnitzer FC and Berliner AK 07.
He played four games in the Bundesliga for SC Freiburg and recorded sixty-nine appearances combined in the 2. Bundesliga for four different clubs in addition to ten appearances in the third tier.
Uzoma, who was born in Lagos, played 32 games for Berliner AK 07 in the Regionalliga Northeast during the 20116-2017 season.
His other clubs include Pécs, Spartak Subotica and Balmazújváros
Uzoma made his starting debut for his new employer in a 4-0 loss to FC Lok Leipzig
