Udinese closing in on deal for 2020 Super Eagles invitee

Italian Serie A club Udinese are reportedly close to signing 2020 Super Eagles invitee Kingsley Ehizibue.
Transfer market guru Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Udinese are close to a new signing from the German Bundesliga, the Nigerian fullback Ehizibue from Cologne.
Subject to a routine medical, the defender will join Udinese on a permanent deal for a transfer fee of 1.5 million euros plus bonuses.
Three years ago, the German-born Nigerian was on the brink of joining another Italian club Genoa but the deal collapsed at the very last minute, with the player stating that God told him not to join the Red and Blues.
Udinese are trying to sign a right wing-back that would fit into manager Andrea Sottil's 3-5-2 formation.
A pacy and physical player, Ehizibue has made seventy five appearances in all competitions for Cologne. scoring one goal and providing three assists.
Before moving to Cologne in the summer of 2019, the 27-year-old played for CSV'28 and PEC Zwolle in the Netherlands.
Udinese have in their first team ranks Destiny Udogie, Isaac Success and Festy Ebosele.
