Announcement imminent : Chelsea star joins Premier League rivals on permanent deal

West Ham United are reportedly on the verge of announcing the capture of Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri on a permanent deal.
According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian-born Italy international has agreed a deal with the Hammers valid until 2027.
West Ham and their Premier League rivals Chelsea have reached a club-to-club agreement for the transfer of the 28-year-old Palmieri.
The overall fee for the defender is likely to work out at fifteen million pounds if performance-related add-ons are included.

Palmieri links up with Italian-born Nigerian defender Angelo Ogbonna and Republic of Ireland youth teamer of Nigerian descent Armstrong Okoflex at West Ham.
Since joining Chelsea from Roma in 2018, Palmieri has played seventy one matches, registering two goals and five assists and has won three major honours in his Blues career including the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.
He is expected to complete the first part of his medical at West Ham on Monday.
