Official : Super Eagles defender joins 26-time Bulgarian champions Levski Sofia

Through a statement on their official website, 26-time Bulgarian champions PFC Levski Sofia have announced the signing of Shehu Abdullahi.
The versatile Super Eagles defender joins the Bulgarian First League side as a free agent, having left Omonia Nicosia in June 2022.
Both parties have agreed to a one-year-deal that is valid till the end of the 2022/2023 season.
The 29-year-old during his two-year stint with Omonia Nicosia won three trophies namely Cypriot Super Cup, Cyprian Cup and Cypriot First Division.

Shehu took to his Twitter handle to reveal his excitement in joining the Bulgarian football giants.
"I'm honored to join this great team, PFC Levski.
"The club has got great history & one of the oldest in the country.
"I want to be part of the club's history & win titles.
"I'm excited and I can't wait to get going. Looking forward to an amazing experience with this amazing group."
He'll be looking forward to helping the Blues have a decent outing in the First Professional Football League and the Bulgarian cup.
Levski Sofia are currently in ninth place, having accrued a total of 15 points from seven games.
