Arsenal's Nigeria-eligible midfielder wanted by Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City
Published: September 19, 2022
Top English Premier League clubs are monitoring the progress of Nigeria-eligible youngster Ethan Nwaneri at Arsenal, according to reports.
Aged 15 years and 181 days on Sunday, Nwaneri etched his name into Premier League history when he came off the bench to replace Fábio Vieira in the Gunners' 3-0 rout of Brentford and in doing so, he became the youngest player to debut in the division.
According to the well informed youth team guru, The Secret Scout, Nwaneri, who has been described as a 'top player', is wanted by Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City.

Born in March 2007, the attacking midfielder is on schoolboy terms at Arsenal and becomes eligible to sign a scholarship deal at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
Bringing him to train with the first team could aid his development and will also help Arsenal's chances of retaining him next summer.
In 2021, the Gunners did not manage to hold onto the Fapetu brothers Femi and Bayo, who joined Manchester City and Derby County respectively, and would be looking to avoid the same scenario by tying up Nwaneri to a new deal.
