Opinion : Top three Nigerian footballers to play for Chelsea

Nigeria is known to be a household name in European club football, with so many legacies by its footballers.
Allnigeriasoccer.com presents the top three Nigerian football stars who have played for English giants Chelsea.
Celestine Babayaro, Mikel Obi, Kenneth Omeruo, Emmanuel Sarki and Ola Aina are some of the Nigerians who have previously been on the books of the London based club.
Below are the top three Nigerian internationals (ranked) to have adorned the famous blue kit.
John Mikel Obi: : The 35-year-old was signed by Chelsea in 2006 from Lyn Oslo. Mikel was the subject of a bitter dispute between Manchester United and Chelsea in 2005, before signing for the Blues the following year.
The former Nigerian international left Stamford Bridge in 2017, appearing in 372 games, winning two Premier League titles, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Emirates FA Cup, Carling Cup (Now Carabao Cup) and the Community Shield.
2) Celestine Babayaro: : Babayaro was a key member of the Chelsea squad during the late 90s and the early 2000s.
He joined Chelsea in 1997 from RSC Anderlecht and he went on to make 196 appearances in his eight years stay at the Bridge.
The left-back scored eight times and assisted six goals, winning the UEFA Cup Winners Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and FA Charity Shield.
3) Victor Moses: : The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner joined the Blues from Wigan Athletic in 2012.
Moses played 128 times for the West Londoners, having 31 goals involvements (18 goals and 13 assists) and winning four trophies.
He won the Premier League, UEFA Europa League and the Emirates FA Cup.during his time at Chelsea.
