Ahead of the restart of the European Leagues, friendly matches took place on Tuesday, December 6.
In a match that was played behind closed doors, Belgian Pro League table toppers Racing Genk defeated Dutch outfit SC Heerenveen 3-1 with Paul Onuachu playing the entirety of the second half.
The Nigeria international striker wrapped up the scoring with ten minutes left when he converted a spot kick after a player handled the ball in the box.
Onuachu has tallied fourteen goals in fifteen appearances across all competitions this season.
Racing Genk will leave for a winter training camp on Wednesday, December 7.
Villarreal ended their training camp in Turkey with a 4-3 win over Super Lig side Galatasaray. Samuel Chukwueze was among the scorers for the La Liga team.
Thirteen minutes before halftime, the Nigeria international capitalized on a through ball from Coquelin to score Villarreal's third goal, before providing the assist for the fourth goal netted by Pascual.
Chukwueze and his teammates face Aston Villa in their next friendly on Thursday, December 15.
