St Mirren accept bids from Portsmouth, Forest Green Rovers for Scottish-Nigerian midfielder
Published: December 27, 2022Scotland U21 international of Nigerian descent Ethan Erhahon is reportedly set to bid farewell to Scottish Premiership club St Mirren in the January transfer window.
According to The Scottish Sun, St Mirren have accepted bids for Erhahon from English Football League clubs Portsmouth and Forest Green Rovers.
The move is now down to the player, who has to agree personal terms and pass a medical with one of the aforementioned clubs.
The highly rated midfielder is expected to join one of the League One clubs next month in exchange for 350,000 pounds (approximately 188.6 million).
The 21-year-old has earned rave reviews with a string of impressive performances for the Saints this season
Erhahon has established himself as a first team regular this season, starting every single game played by St Mirren in the Scottish topflight and was in action for 1,312 minutes.
The St Mirren academy graduate spent a portion of the 2019-2020 season on loan at Barnsley.
Erhahon was named as the St Mirren Young Player of the Year for the 2020-2021 season.
