One in, one out : Flying Eagles coach makes decision on two Norwich City starlets
Published: January 23, 2023
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Nigeria U20s boss Ladan Bosso has made a decision on two Norwich City players - goalkeeper David Aziaya and striker Kenny Coker - ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
Aziaya has been decamped and is supposed to fly back to the United Kingdom as from today Monday, January 23 to join the Canaries.
The scouting report on Aziaya showed that he has good reflexes and technically sound as you would expect from a goalkeeper who was nurtured by a Category One academy in England.
On the flip side, he needs time to mature as a goalkeeper and will be ready for international football in the coming years.
The 19-year-old Coker arrived the Flying Eagles camp with a huge reputation having played five senior games whilst still a teenage during his Southend United days and indeed he has lived up to the hype.
Coker's ambition to become provisionally cap-tied to Nigeria at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations is still intact as he has been retained by Ladan Bosso
For now, he has been labeled 'one of the best strikers' in the Flying Eagles team undergoing preparations in Abuja.
