15yo attacking midfielder of Nigerian descent trains with Arsenal first team pre-Everton

Manager Mikel Arteta ran the rule over talented attacking midfielder of Nigerian descent Ethan Nwaneri during Arsenal first team training session at London Colney on Thursday, February 2, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Spanish football tactician put the first team stars and a couple of outstanding academy players through their paces in the Gunners' penultimate workout before their Premier League meeting with Everton at Goodison Park.
It remains to be seen whether or not Nwaneri will be included in the traveling party to L4 4EL.
The Hale End prospect has not figured for the first team since he made history as the youngest player to feature in the Premier League against Brentford on September 18, 2022, aged 15 years and 181 days.
The schoolboy also made his debuts in the U18 Premier League Cup, Premier League 2, Papa Johns Trophy, FA Youth Cup and Premier League International Cup this season.
Nwaneri has surely been offered a scholarship for next season but it remains to seen if he will commit his future to the Premier League table toppers amid interest from top teams in England.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Brian Okonkwo, a first year scholar, trained with Arsenal youth team on Thursday, with Arsenal Academy Director Per Mertesacker in attendance at London Colney.
