Golden Eaglets-eligible striker scores in back-to-back games for Manchester United youth team
Published: February 04, 2023Anglo-Spanish-Nigerian attacker Victor Musa has scored in back-to-back matches for the first time in his Manchester United career.
The talented schoolboy netted his first competitive goal for Manchester United U18s in a 3-3 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend and he followed that up with another goal in a 1-1 draw with Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
Derby County midfielder Bayo Fapetu and United U18s number 9 Musa went the distance for their respective teams
The Rams opened the scoring in the 24th minute through Dajaune Brown, who capitalized on a defensive error and slotted the ball into the far corner.
With twelve minutes left on the clock, Musa had the simplest of tasks to slot into an open goal after a lovely ball from Ethan Williams.
The 16-year-old missed a golden chance to net the equaliser moments before rescuing a point for the Young Red Devils.
Musa, who is eligible for the Golden Eaglets, has represented Spain and England at youth level.
The Manchester United U18 held a minute's silence before kickoff against Derby, marking 65 years since the Munich Air Disaster.
