Super Eagles legend questions Chelsea's signing of Enzo Fernandez, treatment of Aubameyang

Super Eagles legend Victor Ikpeba has questioned Chelsea's January transfer business and wondered why a fellow past African Footballer of The Year winner is not considered good enough for the team right now.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won the Confederation of African Football award in 2015 as Africa's best player but is now set for an uncertain future at the club.
Ikpeba spoke on Monday Night Football, SuperSport's magazine show on DStv.
The former AS Monaco striker says it will be difficult for the new players to blend with the philosophy of manager Graham Potter whom he doesn't have a lot of faith in.
"It's a new environment for them, spending £107m for a World Cup champion (Enzo Fernandez) at that age.
"What can he change? Is he better than Jorginho or N'Golo Kante that they had before. I don't think that Graham Potter is the right manager for this Chelsea side."
Chelsea were held to a goalless draw by Fulham last Friday and they are stuck in ninth place in the Premier League table with Aubameyang frozen out.
"I have my doubts, I have worries. A team that has Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang I don't understand why he doesn't play.
"Kai Havertz with due respect to him, is not a striker. He can play from the wings.
"There's a lot of confusion going around at the club. I think things have been bad. I don't know how Chelsea will go on a run of wins from the problems that they are on right now," Ikpeba went on.
Chelsea will face West Ham United in their next Premier League game on Saturday, February 11.
