Championship main marksman Chuba Akpom has been nominated for another monthly award.
The Super Eagles hopeful is leading the scoring charts in the division with 21 goals in 28 matches ahead of Middlesbrough's trip to Swansea City this coming weekend.
On the heels of his nomination for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month award for February 2023, the Hale End Academy graduate has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award.
Akpom will be aiming to win the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award again after taking home the prize in December 2022.
Last month, the 27-year-old netted five goals in as many games including finishing a fine team move against Blackpool and scoring in the 3-1 victory at Sheffield United.
Akpom is up against three players from the second tier namely Tom Bradshaw (Millwall), Hjalmar Ekdal (Burnley) and Kyle McFadzean (Coventry City).
The winner of the Championship Player of the Month award will be announced on Friday, March 10.
The judging panel for the award comprises Sky Sports EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
