Orban netted his first goal of the evening when he was found by a pass from Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe and he shot neatly into the right corner.
The Nigerian's 16th-minute strike was the only goal between both sides for the rest of the first half.
Orban would start the onslaught six minutes after the restart when he showed his industry to intercept a pass to record his second of the day and double Gent's lead.
Two minutes after, Orban became the provider when he set up Hugo Cuypers who made no mistake turning the ball at the back of the net.
Jordan Torunarigha netted Gent's fourth of the day in the 66th minute after a brilliant piece of work by Kenyan centre-back, Joseph Akumu
Odjidja-Ofoe got his second assist of the match when his cross found the head of Cuypers to seal Gent's victory.
Since making his Jupiler Pro League debut against KVC Westerlo on February 11, Orban has tallied nine goals, more than any other player in the top ten European Leagues.
The 2023 Nigeria U23 invitee has also scored for fun in the Europa Conference League with five goals in four games, taking his haul since his arrival at Gent to fourteen in eleven games.
The win helped Gent consolidate their position as the 4th best team in the Belgian Pro League, having garnered 54 points after 31 games with 3 games left to be played.
