Italian heavyweights AC Milan are the latest club linked with a move for Nigeria national teamer Samuel Chukwueze.
This season, the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup winner has shown that he has come of age with 24 goal involvements (13 goals, 11 assists) from 40 appearances across all competitions.
According to Italian transfer market website Calciomercato, AC Milan are in the market for an offensive winger and have identified Chukwueze as a possible reinforcement in the summer.
Villarreal have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the Super Eagles star, with a couple of Premier League clubs also interested in his signature.
Chukwueze continues to be linked with a move to Aston Villa in what would be a reunion between him and his former coach Unai Emery if the move materializes.
The 23-year-old transferred to Villarreal from Diamond Academy Umuahia in 2017 and has been an excellent signing for the Yellow Submarine.
The 2021 Europa League winner will enter the last one year of his contract at Villarreal on July 1, 2023, and if he does not sign a new deal, the club will be looking to cash in on the winger when the window reopens to avoid losing him for free in a year's time.
