Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielders, Bulgarian-based duo receive Flying Eagles call-ups
Published: April 24, 2023Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Nigeria Football Federation have dispatched invitation letters to at least four other foreign-based professionals apart from Arsenal starlet Joel Ideho as they aim to beef up the Flying Eagles squad for the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina.
Head coach of Nigeria's U20 national team, Ladan Bosso has named a 39-player training camp roster consisting of home-based players and will in the incoming days make public the names of foreign-based players invited to the team.
It is confirmed that Inter Milan midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, who has bagged two assists in his last three games in the Primavera 1, has received his call-up and another Milan based player in Rossoneri midfielder Victor Eletu has also been called up by the Nigerian Federation.
Bulgarian club Botev Plodviv announced with pride on Friday, April 21 that Ume Emmanuel and Tochukwu Nnadi have received call-ups for the Nigeria U20 national team, and this website can independently confirm that their invitation letters have already been sent.
Emmanuel and Nnadi have been permitted to travel to Abuja after Monday's Bulgarian First League match with Slavia Sofia.
Of the aforementioned players, the name that rings a bell is that of Eletu, who has played more than seventy games for AC Milan's youth teams since joining the Italian giants.
Eletu was arguably the best player in the AC Milan team that lost 3-1 to Hajduk Split in the semifinals of the UEFA Youth League on Friday.
