Crystal Palace not happy with PSG's pursuit of Anglo-French-Nigerian winger
Published: May 15, 2023Crystal Palace are said to be unhappy with French giant Paris Saint-Germain’ over their pursuit of Anglo-French-Nigerian winger, Michael Olise.
According to FootballInsider, Crystal Palace believe that the interest of the French club might hinder their ambition to tie Olise down to a new contract with his current deal expiring in 2026.
PSG director Luis Campos is said to have contacted the right winger's representatives over the possibility of moving to Parc des Princes in the summer.
The Eagles are on the verge of losing Wilfred Zaha for free in the summer and wouldn't want to lose another key player in the same transfer window which could affect their ambition for next season.
Olise is enjoying a brilliant campaign with Crystal Palace particularly under interim boss, Roy Hodgson.
The 21-year-old has 10 assists in the Premier League this season, which is the most for the South London side and has also netted two goals.
Olise's 12-goal contributions is only bettered by Eberechi Eze who has 13 with ten goals and three assists.
