Eze insists he's focused on Crystal Palace amid Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle United links
Published: May 22, 2023
Super Eagles-eligible attacking midfielder, Eberechi Eze has revealed that he is focused on Crystal Palace and is not bothered about rumours linking him away from Selhurst Park in the summer transfer window.
Eze is enjoying his best run of form with Crystal Palace under interim boss, Roy Hodgson having scored 6 goals and provided one assist in his last eight games for the Eagles.
The 24-year-old leads the goal contributions chart for Crystal Palace with fourteen (10 goals, 4 assists) in 37 Premier League matches.
Eze has two years left on his contract with Crystal Palace and has been linked with a move to Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle United.
The former QPR midfielder while addressing the rumour linking him with a move away from the South London-based team told Evening Standard: "I'm not really too bothered about that. I'm just focusing on the present.
"I want to continue enjoying it and contributing to the team as much as I can. I’m improving every game."
Having established himself as a key player this season for Roy Hodgson's side and helping them to maintain their Premier League status, the club's hierarchy will be hoping that he can stay put at Selhurst Park.
Eze has scored 15 goals and registered 11 assists in 92 appearances since joining Crystal Palace in 2020.
