Report: Manchester United preparing offer for 30-goal Nigerian player
Published: May 29, 2023Manchester United are set to be preparing a mega offer for Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.
According to Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport , via Calcio Napoli 24, Manchester United will offer 150 million euros to Napoli for the Nigerian striker.
The Red Devils need a striker and have identified Osimhen as a target for the summer transfer window following his goalscoring exploits for Napoli this season.
The 24-year-old bagged a brace in Napoli's 2-2 draw with Bologna yesterday thereby taking his tally to 30 goals in all competitins this season, including 25 in the Serie A.
This puts him in control of the Capocannoniere's race heading into the final matchday of the season next weekend.
Osimhen's thirty goals this term is the most he has scored in a single campaign in his career.
Manchester United recorded the third fewest goals among teams that finished in the top half of the Premier League table and getting Osimhen could end their goalscoring woes.
Chelsea are also keen on signing the former Lille striker while PSG are also exploring the possibility of capturing his signature.
