'An experienced PL option' - Pundit reveals the qualities Ndidi would bring to Man Utd if signed
Published: June 02, 2023English football pundit Daniel Murphy has suggested that Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will be a good fit at Manchester United.
Manchester United are preparing for a busy summer as they look to strengthen the team and build on this season's success.
While getting a striker is one of the priorities of Erik Ten Hag heading into the summer transfer window, it is believed that the Red Devils will also need to strengthen the midfield if they want to fight for big honours next season.
While the Carabao Cup Champions haven't been linked with Wilfred Ndidi, it has been mooted that they could make do with a player of his experience and quality in the middle of the park.
This is according to Daniel Murphy while writing for Manchester Evening News on how Manchester United can strengthen their midfield this summer.
"An experienced Premier League option - perhaps Wilfred Ndidi - would add that bit of extra steel, strength and passing proficiency United could do with".
The Super Eagles midfielder will be plying his trade in the English Championship next season following Leicester City's relegation and a move to an ambitious Manchester United could offer him the chance to play in the Premier League next season.
The 26-year-old joined Leicester City in 2016 and has tallied 237 appearances for them in all competitions, scoring eleven goals.
