Tottenham join Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City in race for Golden Eaglets-eligible midfielder
Published: June 09, 2023
Tottenham Hotspur are among the Premier League giants battling to sign Golden Eaglets-eligible player Jamaldeen Jimoh from West Brom.
TEAMtalk is reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a move for West Brom starlet Jamal Jimoh as they look to beat a number of Premier League rivals to his signature.
The box-to-box midfielder is now eligible to sign scholarship forms with the Baggies but his future is looking less likely to be at the
The Hawthorns.
Tottenham Hotspur face competition from Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City in the race to sign the talented 16-year-old, and the north London side have extensively scouted him in the last twelve months ahead of a potential move.
Jimoh earned caps for England at U16 level before he became provisionally cap-tied to England on October 25, 2022 when he came off the bench for the last fifteen minutes of a European U17 Championship qualifier against Lithuania.
He has totaled seven appearances in the U18 Premier Leage whilst still a schoolboy and also featured in the U18 Premier League Cup last season.
West Brom would be due compensation for their academy product if one of the clubs interested in his services prise him away in the summer.
