Osimhen demands answers from Napoli about terms of proposed new deal
Published: June 23, 2023
Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen is demanding answers from Napoli before putting pen to paper on a new contract that will keep him at the club until at least June 30, 2027.
Osimhen has two years left on his current contract and has been linked with a move away from Napoli this summer but the Blues' President, Aurelio De Laurentiis is desperate to keep the striker.
It was claimed earlier reported this week that the asking price of the Nigerian striker has been increased from 150 million euros to 180 million euros in a bid to scare away his suitors.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport via Calcionapoli1926, the 24-year-old wants to know the terms that make an offer indispensable and those of the new contract which, according to his legitimate reflections, will have to be proportionate to the evaluation and the laws of the market.
Osimhen played a vital role as Napoli ended their 33-year-old wait for the Scudetto which explains the desperation to keep him for the coming seasons.
The Super Eagles star is heavily wanted by Ligue 1 Champions PSG who sees him as a primary target this summer while Manchester, Chelsea and Bayern Munich also want to acquire his services.
