Promising teenage winger of Nigerian descent, Elijah Gift is certainly departing Liverpool this summer.

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that Gift has already undergone a medical examination and put pen to paper on a contract with Spanish club Athletic Bilbao.
Athletic Bilbao are still awaiting clearance from football's governing body, Fifa before making the deal official.
Ignoring the structure of the contract, Gift will remain on the books of Athletic Bilbao until the end of the 2027-2028 season, having appended his signature to a 'five-year deal'.
The 17-year-old would have been eligible to sign his first professional contract at the Reds this summer had he not swapped Liverpool for Bilbao.
Gift is eligible to represent Nigeria at international level through his father but he is leaning towards committing his future to Spain having accepted an invitation to train with his country of birth before the 2023 European U17 Championship.
The exciting winger joined Liverpool at U12 level from the academy team of Huddersfield Town.
The deal that took Gift to Athletic Bilbao was brokered by English-based Nigerian agent Tobi Alabi of General Sports Magna.
