Published: July 07, 2023With a statement on their official website, Moldovan champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol have announced the signing of David Ankeye.
Ankeye is the third Nigerian player the Yellow-Blacks have signed in 2023, after Origbaajo Ismaila and Peter Ademo, who joined the club in February and July respectively.

Sheriff Tiraspol will face Romanian champions Farul Constanța in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, with the first leg holding at Stadionul Central (Ovidiu) on July 12 and the second leg on July 18 at Sheriff Stadium, Tiraspol.
