Ahead of the commencement of the upcoming season, young Nigerian-descent striker, Folarin Balogun has resumed preseason training amid transfer speculation linking him away from the club.

According to Football.London,  the youngster was spotted in training on Sunday, July 9, 2023 with the rest of the first team players.
Arsenal will travel to the United States in July to step up preparation for the upcoming season and Balogun is expected to be with the team before Mikel Arteta makes a decision on his future.
Balogun spent last season on loan at Reims in the Ligue 1 and had 24 goals contribution (scored 21 goals and created 3 assists) in 37 games.
His performance in Ligue 1 has attracted interest from several top European clubs with the youngster already linked to Chelsea, Inter and AC Milan.
Despite the transfer links, the youngster has resumed preseason activities with the Gunners, presenting him an opportunity to convince Mikel Arteta for a place in Arsenal's first team.
Balogun will compete with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah for a role in attack if he is not loaned out or sold on a permanent basis this summer.
The Hale End Academy graduate, who was eligible to represent England and Nigeria is now cap-tied to the United States.
The youngster, who started both in the semifinal and final of the CONCACAF Nations League, scored his debut goal against Canada in the final.
