Done deal: Manchester United youth product Sotona joins Doncaster Rovers

With a statement on their official website, League Two side Doncaster Rosters have confirmed the signing of Manchester United academy product of Nigeria descent Deji Sotona on a two-year deal.
Sotona was on trial with Rovers for some weeks and has earned himself a contract after impressing the coaches.
The 20-year-old is a talented winger known for his pace and attracted the interest of Manchester United and Manchester City at a young age before opting to join the former.
While at Manchester United, he was named the club's fastest winger ahead of Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot and Daniel James which is a testament to his incredible pace.
He left the Red Devils in 2020 despite being offered a three-year extension deal and joined Nice who were being coached by Patrick Vieira then but struggled to get get regular minutes of football.
On his curriculum vitae, the Republic of Ireland underage international has also worn the colors of Brentford B, Burnley and Kilmarnock.
Sotonawill be hoping that he can turn his career around with Doncaster Rovers in the fourth tier of English football next season.
