Released Chelsea striker Fiabema on the radar of two-time Polish champions
Published: July 18, 2023
Two-time Polish champions Śląsk Wrocław have Norway U21 international of Nigerian descent Bryan Fiabema on their radar.
The Norwegian-Nigerian striker is on the lookout for a new club after he was released by Chelsea at the end of his contract on June 30, 2023.
According to Karol Bugajski of Polish sports newspaper, Przegląd Sportowy, Fiabema has emerged as a transfer target for Śląsk Wrocław.
Śląsk Wrocław have made contact with Fiabema and his camp over a transfer but the deal is pending until the fate of Erik Exposito is decided.
The Spaniard was on the verge of joining a Turkish club this month, only for the deal to fall through.
In the event of Erik Exposito's departure, Fiabema is one of the strikers Śląsk Wrocław are considering for the number 9 role.
Fiabema had a taste of first team football prior to his release by Chelsea with loan spells at Rosenborg and Forest Green Rovers.
Overall, the 20-year-old has played in twenty nine matches as a professional, registering three goals and six assists.
Fiabema was Chelsea's development squad top scorer in the 2021-2022 season with eight goals to his name.
