Rumoured Everton target Boniface to sign four or five-year deal with Bayer Leverkusen
Published: July 21, 2023Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on the signing of rumored Everton target Victor Boniface.
This website stressed a few days ago that there was nothing in the reports linking the Royale Union Saint-Gilloise attacker with a move to Goodison Park this summer.
Boniface has agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen but the transfer is still not one hundred percent sealed as there are still minor details to be sorted out.
A transfer fee has not been agreed between Bayer Leverkusen and Royale Union Saint-Gilloise despite a fee of twenty million euros being bandied about, and the other issue being discussed as of now is the length of the contract.
However, Boniface has agreed to join Die Schwarzroten on a four or five-year deal that will keep him at the club until at least June 30, 2027.
The Real Sapphire product had a breakout campaign in 2022-2023, putting himself in the shop window after registering thirty four goal involvements (22 goals, 12 assists) in 55 all-competition appearances.
Boniface shone against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League last season, scoring against them in the quarterfinals first leg at the BayArena.
Bayer Leverkusen will be signing a forward that offers versatility given that he can play as an out-and-out number 9 and can also be deployed as a winger on either flanks.
